Aged 50+ and wanting to feel more confident about cooking?
Wanting to meet like-minded people in a fun and friendly environment?LinkAge Network are working in partnership with three of Bristol’s City Farms, to run free cooking courses for people aged 50+.
The six to eight week courses will provide you with skills and knowledge to cook nutritious and tasty food, as well as the opportunity to meet and socialise with other local people.
Sessions will take place across the year at:
- St Werburghs City Farm: 26 April – 14 June, 5 July – 23 August, 13 September – 1 November (Thursdays)
- Windmill Hill City Farm: 10 July – 14 August and 25 Sept – 30 Oct (Tuesday mornings)
- Lawrence Weston Community Farm: dates to be confirmed
The September/October course at Windmill Hill City Farm will be for people who identify as LGBT+.
